just finish turbo setup
sup
setup:
b16a (stock)
neukin manifold
neukin 3"dp
sc61
tial w/g (4psi)
greddy type 24 intercooler
runnin fmu til i get it tune next week (neptune)
well my question is i test drive it and i feel the boost kick in at 5-6500 but my boost guage dont read boost....vac. works bov works not sure...only thing i can think of did i hook up the w/g right? does the vac go into the side of the w/g? or the top? i have no boost controller right now...
any help would be appreciated

the vac. line goes to the bottom port of the wg, leave the top open.
check the connection where ever you tapped in for the source to the boost gauge.

that means either
A_ there is a leak in the line to the boost gauge.
B_ you have a massive boost leak somewher in your chargepiping, etc
hear any blow off valve noises?

ok its boostin now but it kicks late.....around 6300....is this normal for sc61?
i order a .60 intake .63 exhaust
but den again the exhaust side can be a .83.....i called the guy i ordered it from he says its a .63 because its on the invoice...
any ideas?

pfft... yeah dude, that turbo is way to big for a stock b16... it's even to big for a built b16 IMO... ramhorn mani will make it spool a little bit slower, but you gain mid and top end... which you don't need with the sc61.

yea. 2.1 liter powah
im not sure what turbo im gonna run yet but i think an sc61 would spool perfectly on my motor. its really too big for a b16

oh well *** it i luv it when it does kick in tho getin it tune on the 22nd of this month i wanna see what he can do at the track.....
im gonna build it later but i dont know who to get to build one for me i was thinkin about EARL?

vacuum goes to side port on the wastegate.
where do you have the boost gauge tapped?
the car feels like it is making boost though, correct?
