Lol. You serious? It's just a flange w/ a small piece of pipe welded on and a clamp holding on flexible pipe routed under the tranny. It's rust as hell.

id like to know where this number came from? is it an average?
im sure its different for different engines also though?

Sorry for the super late reply. It is a average. Different strokes and rod length will have a effect on load. This is saying that the rod stays square.

Re: (Turbogixxer)
I still can't believe this car made so much power on only 12.5psi.
Must be one hell of an efficient setup!
I'm using that same manifold for my next setup, nice choice!

Nice time's man. I'm knocking on 11's myself with a sohc running 16psi at 277hp@240ft. Best time 12.4@116 with a suckass 1.9 60ft. I'm now 22psi with open dump and the track closed for the year!

Re: Just Dyno'd: SOHC Turbo ~12.5psi (D-booster)
hey man, i got a question for ya... im gonna be running the same turbo xs MBC (DUAL stage)...
when you switch it to low boost... do you have to adjust anything else? fuel pressure?
or do you have 2 different tunes on 2 chips in the ecu jumpered to a switch that you gotta flip?
...or is it the ecu doesnt dump the fuel till it sees the boost??
thanks alot man... wish my numbers could be as good i think im goin to move up to a to4e myself.. ill put up my sheet as soon as the tuner emails it to me

Re: Just Dyno'd: SOHC Turbo ~12.5psi (HatchEh2)
All it does is give you two settings. Your car should idealy be tuned (AFR's and timing) at the MAX boost you'll see, and somewhere in between that and 0psi. The rest should be averaged, then AFR dialed with a street tune. Your chip should have a fuel/timing map that goes up to the 2nd stage setting on your MBC. In other words, 1 chip should idealy be tuned for any PSI, up to the max the MAP sensor can measure.
BTW I think one reason this turbo works so well on this motor is that its right in the sweet spot for the compressor map. It stays above 75% effecient after 5.5k. Good **** happens when the turbo is a good match to the motor.

Re: Just Dyno'd: SOHC Turbo ~12.5psi (HiProfile)
so what your sayin is i still need two chips with 2 different tunes in my ecu? or your saying just have one chip tuned for the max pressure my MAP can see and just clean up the afr's with a street tune for the low boost setting?
