Are there any kits that are specificly made for the D16y7? If not will any of the D16 kits work?

I am doing the same thing as you, to save yourself alot of time, go out and get a y8 intake manifold then just buy a greddy kit for a 92-95 civic ex, it will blot right on there, and ur going to have to weld on the down pipe, if i were u do 2.5 inch custom exhaust when u are at it, or weld a flang, it's kinda up to you. Im am going to be doing the same thing, i bought a y8 race manifold, but just get the stock y8 manifold, it will give u more hp, and u can get them for under 100 bucks. The DX tranny is a good trannys as well to boost, nice long gears. D16Y7 are almost the same as a y8, at 9 PSI with a intercooler and a fuel upgrades, u might be seeing around 180 to 200 hp range.
D16 Series Turbo's fucken own, or go with a custom kit

What about an intercooler kit? Im sure that one could be pieced together but are there any available that would just bolt right up to the greddy kit on a D16y7

a 95 civic ex kit sould do the same thing.. i've been looking at the turbo+intercooler kits and i've been told that the only difference will be on the intake. but if you're dropping money for a turbo, you can afford a mini-me anyway.

The 1996-00 EX edelbrock kit will work, Just change from the y7 manifold to a y8 manifold and your DX is now a fucken EX, or go all out and do the full mini me swap and have a REAL EX.

And a Greedy Turbo Kit for a 92-95 EX with work, just get a intercooler for a 92-95 ex, it will fit fine as well, the greedy blue box can also be wired for the same model as your car all 96-00 ex's can have the blue box, im more info the AFC hack myself, don't forget to build your fuel and spark and tranny.

make sure u have paper towels under your fuel rail when u take it off, it leaks more then u would think. also get anit freeze your going to leak alot from your tb. ur going to need a y8 tb as well, the y7 needs a different spring. or just get a diff tb. i used a 92-95 ex tb spring, and it worked fine.

use ur y7 and look at the way the tb cable works, it won't work right, u need to take off the stock y7 spring and chang the way the cable moves, so it moves like a ex, then it will work. Trust me, im glad i had the 92-95 ex tb, or i would of been fucked.
