Default just boosted...input needed..

just finished up tonight....WHoo that **** was sick..haha

oh well...ran into some problems already. i hit +0.58 first couple of pulls at like 3500rpm. Then it dropped to like +0.02. i know its probably a leak in my charge pipes somewhere i'mma check it out tomorrow, its too dark.
then smoke started coming out of the exhaust everytime i gas'ed it...i also noticed the car was leaking some oil, damn i gotta check out my car tomorrow.

ps..how much psi is +0.58 bar? and what might be causing my car to smoke, is it possible that i bought a turbo with blown seals?

seems like its burning oil...bluish whitish smoke.

is this normal when first installing the turbo? or did i buy a bunk turbo.

also i noticed that the oil feed is leaking, can that be part of the smoke?

1 bar is 14.7 psi. Simple math.
As far as the smoke thing.....like somebody already mentioned, what color was the smoke? Do you have an oil pressure gauge? If so how much pressure are you running? How big is your oil feed line? Drain line? You might be sending too much oil pressure to the turbo bearings and the oil is leaking by. Need more info to really try to help you.

i started up the car today, and took in around the block..no smoke.

i'm thinking the smoke was just the grease from my hands burning off of the manifold.

now i gotta fix them oil leaks..haha
