Default JRSC and Traction Problem

Yesterday is the first time I go to the track and I'm very disapointed . My 60ft times suck:

1st pass: 2.676 2nd pass: 2.725

I have a Competition Engineering Traction System, I lovered my tires pressure to 16psi (205/45 16 wheels), etc.

All time I speen wheels in the first gear in the same place and need to change to second at 8,500 rpm to start.

Some can give me ideas and help? Thanks in advance

50 series tires will provide more traction as far as street tires go... other than that, get slicks.

I can't use slicks in this clas of events (only for street cars). My best is that a very nice subaru with a street tires make 12.23 (he have 4 weels tracktion).

I think I can make best time with my config.

Some one have more ideas????

Nitto or BFG drag radials.
Urethane bushings.
proper shock settings.

And you'll get your 60' times down to around 2.2/2.3 seconds.

btw, the first time my friend went to the track with his JRSC he ran 14.6, after a week or two of practice he ran 13.8, and from then on ran consistently 13.7-13.9 w/ a 2.0-2.1 60ft on 17's w/ regular street tires. good luck, just practice.
