JRSC supercharger CA smog Legal?

JRSC supercharger CA smog Legal?
I was wondering if a jackson racing supercharger for a D series is smog legal in California, i would hope so because i know all these muscle cars and **** are runnin around with em on, but i know id be the one who got pulled over for it. Did search..thanks

It's CA legal. That's why it has a CARB number (CA Air Resource Board) and why it's considered a 50-state upgrade. A guy who's sponsored by my local shop runs the JRSC on his Y8. He passed smog two years ago but when he had to go back again this year, he failed. My tuner thought his cat might've taken a ****. I don't know what he did to pass or if he even passed again. I didn't bother following up.
