JRSC Stepper Pulley - need description! Special-Problems!
Hi,
i bought a supercharger a year ago. I was running with 5psi all the time, now i upgraded the CRV crank pulley and i want to go for the alternator pulley to reach about 13psi! so far so good, if there wasn't that problem: The supercharger was for a DOHC Prelude Engine, no VTEC. It took me a while to get a perfect fit for the JRSC intake manifold, but thats all okay now! The Problem is that the supercharger sits too far on the right side (about 1cm which is 0,4inch). becouse of that the belt has to be very tight or it will jump of the pulley. I can solve the problem by making a alternator pulley by myself! But to do that i need an exactly description of the sizes and best thing would be a good picture of the pulley! And there are 2 possible ways to make the supercharger spin faster, either you make the alternator pulley bigger where the supercharger belt sits or you make it smaller where the belt for the crank pulley sits on the alternator pulley! How is it with the pulleys you can buy?
Thank you very much,
Philip

Hi Philip,
I've got some pics of the Endyn stepper pulley on my site, if thats helpful to you. I also had some alignment issues, the site shows how I solved them.

good luck with the project!
Mark.

you can also make the supercharger pulley smaller to increase boost.
I should warn you, if you are overtightening the belt,
you can cause increased wear on the nosebearing of the sc and damage it.
