Default JRSC question

I installed the charger on my 99 civic si and it runs great but now my check engine light is on and it shows that my knock sensor is malfunctioning. I am running colder plugs, timing is retarded, and the light was not on before so I am curious why the light is on now. Did anyone have this problem when there charger was installed??

Thanks

When installing the charger you may have either broken the sensor, or damaged the wires in the harness that connect to the sensor. The sensor is located right below the manifold near the stock alternator mounting location.

Check and make sure it's plug in also.

I got under the car the other day and noticed that the wire was not in the connector for the knock sensor so i reinstalled the wire in the connector and plugged it back in. Then I pulled off the negative terminal and pulled the 15amp ecu fuse for 15 mins then reconnected the battery and fuse and the check engine light was off when i started the car but as soon as i got down my block the dam light came back on. I have no idea what to do now does anyone have any ideas??
They will be most appreciated.
Thanks a lot.
