JRSC and N02
I have a stock lsvtec with a cometic head gasket (9:1 compression) and want to run a mild nitrous set up with a hondata. Is this going to be safe? What would be the best form of nitrous injection? Dp seems the best way but they dont make a 25 shot jet. All comments are appreciated.

i have been looking into this also. in all honesty, it's a great idea because any attempt to cool the intake charge is greatly needed with this jrsc. i have seen post of a guy in alaska of all places that's using a alcohol injection kit originally designed for grand nationals. so far the butt dyno is good but won't be able to get to a dyno until spring. the kit runs about 300 bucks and rubbing alcohol can be had for cheap compared to nitrous refills. i'm keeping a close eye on any updates in this area cause i'm running about 10-12psi on a jrsc and you can OBVIOUSLY tell after a few runs the intake temps are just too high.

I used to spray my old setup (Stock GSR, Stock Boost JR Charger) with a 35 shot, single fogger wet setup. Worked well, dropped et 6 tenths and picked up 5 mph (from 12.4 @ 108 to 11.8 @ 113) with that small of a shot . Direct port is more for higher hp levels, like 60 hp+, not recommended for stock motors, although it can be done.

A dry shot would be your best bet. I ran 8 PSI and a 25 dry shot at the track on my stock block D16Y8 this past season without problems. I'm still thinking about going hondata this winter during the off season. Next time at the track the drag radials will have less air in them and I'll be running a 35 dry shot. After bolting on the 25 shot, I lost 6/10ths of a second in the 1/4 mile. A 35 shot should be around a full second off my times.

When I first had my JRSC installed it was dynoed. Since then it hasn't been but will be if I decide to go hondata this year. I've got 70% of the cash for it already, just haven't had the time or ambition to **** with it anymore. I'm guessing it's somewhere over 200 HP as 6 PSI was about 145 corrected.
