JRSC installed.. now small problem
yeah, it might be the fuel enrichment relay. The only way to really tell and get it working right is to get it tuned on the dyno with a wideband. I can't stress this enough.
update...
not runnin the fuel enrichment relay..
bought magnacor wires and put in new bkr7e plugs gapped to .30
old plugs the electrode was kinda mushroomed.. just slightly and they were really black .. and the ground strap was whiteish.
the car still hesitates under boost after driving it hard.

im assuiming u are not running an fmu correct? cuz if u are then that would be the cause of ur super richness... i had the same problem in my car... i leand it out a bit and it made a world of difference

hmmm it may not be a fuel problem at all.... it could be a slight bit of belt slippage when suddenly acellerating, and then the belt "catches" up so to speak.

i'm running afc hack..
settings are -40% at idle
-36 from there up. -35 throws map code.
i'm running 9psi
i was thinkin belt slippage but i tightened them more.. and i still read 9psi while it does this

ok.. using voltmeter while i am at WOT the voltage was almost 1.. 9.7-9.8 ish.. and then it started bogging and goin to about 8.9..
maybe i need a fuel pump? you think the pump gets hot after all that demand and finally it kinda gives up..
i would't think so.. because it would drop lower. also replaced cap and rotor today.. didn't help.
anybody?
maybe i'm running too much timing retard with -1degree/lb boost and stock timing

Are you runnig the stock fuel pump? Yes, the fuel pumps can heat up and reduce the efficiency of their flow. Stock pumps don't flow much at high fuel pressures. If you haven't upgraded your fuel pump to a Walbro 190 or 255, I'd recommend that.
Oh, ok. I'm sorry. You should roll back your base timing a little and have no more than .5 degree per lb retard. Is the retard **** easily accessable during driving? If so, drive into boost with it set at 1*, slowly turn it back til you feel more power. But again, keep it in boost. If you feel leary about driving fast and boosting while playing with *****, get a friend to do it...
i'm using a boost retard chip from pgmfi from j davis
my only way of adjusting is advancing say 2 degrees to total 7 degrees retard at 9psi and so on.
is everybody usin walbro intank pumps.. any alternatives?

when the bogging would start it would fall to around 8.0V would fall from 9.7V to around 8.0V which would mean that its loosing fuel pressure or somehting along those lines. leading to the fuel pump as the problem..... we will find out this weekend
i have a walbro 255 in my rx7 and i dont trust it at all... i know alot of honda guys use it and it works fine ....... but ive heard bad things about them..... a 255 walbro is a big upgrade from a stock honda where as its not so much for me so ill be upgrading again as soon as funds let me.

its not a problem of flow tho ... if it was it would do it all the time or when ever he built boost ... where as the problem only happens after he gets on it for a while.
Check the heat range on the plugs they are either too hot or too cold of plug. You shouldn't run stock plugs on boost. It could also be a fuel problem. I had a situation once where I installed a walboro fuel pump that made so much pressure it was pushing gas right past the pressure regulator man did it bogg. I pulled the pump replaced it with a gsr pump end of problem think you are running way rich. Check your plugs if they are black way too rich if they are white too lean of they have a nice color of brownish grey perfect. Really important to tune the car use a wide band o2 sensor.
if fuel preasure is a concern put a guage on the car and see if it drops... i seriously doubt this is the problem tho. these fuel pumps pump enough preasure to run that set up at 8 psi with an 8 to 1 fmu that would be a 64 lb increase you are asking it to run half of that or even less
when its cold does it run fine and when its hot run bad or does it run badd all the time and just run worse when its hot? did you do any other mods at the same time? does it build full boost fast like a sc should or slow? if you stay on it long enough does it ever clean up and pull or does it get deader.
