with that motor it would be relativly easy. At most you would need i/h/e, 8.5-10 psi and hondata. It is not hard to make a B16 get 220 at 8.5 psi with hondata.

Just go turbo and do it with 6psi and with all the neat noises to boot

the JRSC kit for the LS is not very effective to tell you the truth. we were just discussing this the other day in this forum. do a search or look a few pages back to see the details about the LS kit.

Ditto, check it out, it was rather extensive.

The main problems with the LS kit it uses a M45 blower ( Same as SOHC kit) , I have made 195 WHP at 10 PSI which is running the crap out of the blower.
Look on Endyns site, He shows you how to use the M62 blower on the LS manifold which will give you more potential.

I'ts not that hard to make 200 hp with an ls blower
I made 227 hp and187tq with an m45. B20 crank pulley, endyn stepper pulley, kamikaze header, 440cc injectors, hondata, crane forced induction cams, jg throttle body. We ran the car for a year without a problem

I believe GreekSpeed on here is running the modded M62 on his LS

LSAvenger had an M62 on his B18B and it was spun at 10psi, I estimate it made 190-195 HP. According to him, it wasn't necessarily worth the trouble.

I think the consenus is that with a STOCK BLOCK, the M45 @ 9-10PSI maxes out around 200HP. Injectors, fuel management, and internals wil increase this (about 20HP from what I have seen here).

You are crossing a threshold from M45/Stock Block to M62/internals, et cetera... the $$$ is the main difference.

I think the point of this thread is that the more $ you invest, the faster you go. If you want a Ferrari, buy a Ferrari. If you want a quick reliable Honda, go the SC/small blower route. I personally have gone this way and am satisified, but one you have it you always want more power

the car was fine for everyday driving...but those numbers were created after 4 hours of dyno time and the program that resulted was very agressive. oh yeah...that was 100 octane numbers..92 octane got us 209hp which is still pretty good. The main difference was the cams, we bumped up @20 hp after the cams were installed. Check crane cams for their supercharged/nitrous grind for the ls
