Default JR Supercharger Timing Q

So I finally am getting my charger installed. I got a JR Map Controller Sensor and mounting plate, fmu, aem rail, and am using my stock injectors. I have a few questions. I am doing my timing belt tomorrow, and installing the crankshaft pulley. How should I do the timing? Just like normal? Or should I retard it a little bit? I know that the JR crankshaft pulley has the marks on it . Tdc then increments of i believe an inch or so. Any info is appreciated. I did some searching but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. Thanks
ps. Don't give me the advice of getting a proper tune. I am using the FMU and Map Controller Sensor until I get a d16z6 and a chipped ecu. I am running it on my d15b7 right now until I upgrade. Already have 550cc injectors for when I do.

With the MAP controller, you should be able to run nearly full stock distributor timing... 14 degrees advance is possible, however, if you get any audible knock at throttle tip-in, you may have to retard back to 12 degrees... maybe even 10 if necessary.

I am talking about the mechanical timing. Does that stay the same?

Mechanical timing stays the same. Ignition timing you will have to play with to get it just right for the fuel you are using. Google how to read spark plugs. Do a few wide open throttle runs and tweak accordingly.
