I've just gotta couple questions... i can get a used JRSC from a friend for a little bit around a grand i'm not sure of what else he's including in that price but i was wondering if a JRSC is street legal like the greddy or apex turbo kit.... we're gonna be doing some forced induction on my wifes sohc civic and was wondering what would be better... i've gone turbo before but not super charged... just wanna know if it's smog legal and which one produces more power for the money.... TIA....
the jrsc is 50 state legal. you want more power for the money? forget about the jrsc and get a turbo, especially for the civic. the only honda i would say is worth supercharging with the jrsc, is the prelude. but even then, you can still get more power from the turbo.

The Jackson kit is carb legal in all 50 states.
And with the right parts and tunning you can make some good power on a B series motor , not to mention good low down power.

You can make really good low end torque on a stock setup but the top end seems to lack on sohc, just my personal opinion, I'll have #'s in early may.
