Default JG Edlebrock 65mm T/B and Victor X

Sounds like the best set up for turbo apps for street. The t/b is listed for B18C. Anyone running this on a B16A? Compatability issues?
Thanks.

As far as I know the B16/ITR TB have not come out yet, GSR are different due to the way the throtle cable routes. My local shop has a B16/ITR TB on order now and they are waiting for it. I plan on getting one myself. I have the Intake Manifold excellent excellent upgarde for high boosted car and high revving boosted car. My experience with All Motor set ups have been less than stellar. Too big IMO unless you have MASSIVE CAMS and HEADWORK but even then I don't know.

On my 2.0 liter engine that i am currently building its getting the victor x and 70mm holley throttle body. With turbo the larger you go, the better gains you are going to make in most cases. The holley throttle body that i got was used, but seems like it is in perfect condition. Stock sensors bolt right up to it.

Can't you just order a B18C TB and swap out the pullies from your stock B16A TB to the JG B18C TB? I know you can with a stock B18C TB.....I'm gotta swap mine and get a ITR cable so it'll look better with the Skunk2 manifold.

NO, you can't. Well, physically, you can, but I ran into a problem from trying to do this. There is no throttle stop, only a ear of aluminum casting. It works fine,...for a while, then you'll start getting TPS codes because the throttle will dig into it, over shooting WOT, and causing a fault on the TPS. Personally, I'm sticking with my 64.5mm AEM old old old skool TB

Now John AEM Overbored TB is old old old school. Remember when AEM had TBs, Cold air intakes, R series pistons and rods? That was it then BAM Cam gears then they really took off! :D The good ole days.

yeah and it's too bad they stopped doing throttle bodies, I haven't seen one that looks as good as this one. I also once had a set of their rods, which went to Greg Shamaroo they were in the frog
