Default JG cam gears? any good...

i have an ls vtec..are.. JG camgears any good...?

jah. they are all pretty much the same imho. i went with the skunk2 proseries, but thats because i had skunk2 valves, springs, retainers, fuel rail, cam seal, vtec solenoid cover, and extended studs- i wish skunk2 would make pistons, oil pans, valve covers and catch cans.
i know a lot of people like golden eagle, crower, aem and full -race cam gears as well.

If I were looking to get a standard style cam gear, I would go with the UndergroundRacing ones--because they are very inexspensive and are a copy of Skunk 2--they are all machined the same way. If I was going to get any thing else, it would be the new Evolution/Bisimoto gears--they have a 3-bolt design, but they have inner-locking serrations on the inner faces, they lock in so even if you only have one bolt on, they won't slip. The only drawback is that you can only adjust in 1 degree increments--can't do 1/2 degree. Otherwise they are the best I have seen.

what about the new BDL cam gears there 200 a set!! i know they are billet does that alone warrent the price?

they work great

I just bought a new set of bdl gears off a member on here for $80 shipped...look awsome to me and Laskey racing sells them....so they cant be that bad, haha

they just came out with a brand new style thats 100+ each gear, if thats what you got for 80 then WOW!!
