Default Jackson SC belt failure???

Hi all,

I just got a CTR EK9 w/ a B18 stroker, cams, intake/exhaust and Jackson Racing SC that does 240whp. However the owner took out the solid engine mounts and put stock one and coincidently the SC belts has failed 2X under hard acceleration. My mechanic says it may have rubbed against the hydrovac since this was converted to LHD.

Can this be true?

Thanks

I don't see how being a lhd would effect the sc, either you have the wrong size belts and its too tight! or your nose pulley is bent and is snapping the belt i have heard of this happening before.
