its not worth doing, especially on a b18a.

Sell it and put the money towards a turbo.

I did a lsvtec JRSC in a EF hatch and it would have been way faster with a turbo money wise, once i was done buying all the extra's to support it, it was about the same.

dont waste ur time, really.

well i wouldnt say its a waste of time, it comes down to what this guy does with the car. drag car, turbo 100% but track car autoX car or he just wants a daily with some more grunt a supercharger on a non-vtec motor is heaven.
my autoX car drives like ive got 2 extra cylinders with non of that lag associated with a turbo and throttle response that would give you wet dreams.
now if we lined up at the strip id prolly go home crying

well i like to road race and i have most of the parts to get the ball rolling. i just want to be different and do what people say is impossible. i spoke to a friend of mine and we are def. getting the ball rolling on this project. he is a welder / fabricators so i dont think we gonna have any real big problems. lets see how it turns out. i will post progress pics and info.

That heat pump you want to the put on your DA isn't the best thing for a road race car.

A turbo when sized for the application, can have nearly no lag. I've seen, and helped build several B series turbo road race cars...shooting for 250-300whp, and the cars ran great, and made full boost VERY quickly.
