Default Jackson Racing fuel problem question

I'm posting this for a customer of ours that has a fuel problem with his JR kit on his 91 crx si. He bought a used complete kit and installed it himself. The problem he is having is that JR says to adjust the fuel pressure up to 55psi at idle (vac. line off). When set like this the car idles very rough (cutting off sometimes) and is running way to rich (at idle) but has excellent power when on the throttle. When the fuel pressure is lowered to around 35psi it idles like factory but has no power. He has factory injectors but they have been blueprinted by RC and is running the si fuel pump. He seems to be having a hard time adjusting the FMU to a fuel pressure that runs the car at idle and as has power at the same time. We have looked at it and everything looks to be installed correctly. The only thing we noticed is that the FMu was mounted sideways instead of upright. Other than that everything lookd good. Any advice? Thanks.
