How do you like your Superchargers? What kind of times are you guys running with what mods? My friend just ran an 8.4 with 6psi with his Supercharged 95 GSR here in South Carolina. Im thinking about getting one for me EG hybrid. Please post as much info as possible!

 

8.4? On a 1/8 mile im guessing. What mods does he have? I want a s/c and that sounds pretty good so I'm guessing he has more then just the blower?

 

s/c d16 ryte here. runs great, chose it over a turbo. dont have any 1/4 times, but im going to sac raceway this sat. so ill post my times. hoping for some high 14's peace

people aren't real big on the JRSC here, I"d check out the supercharged forum at superhonda.org. They really know there **** and are extremely helpful. Most people will tell you that you won't get near the performance from a JRSC as you will from a turbo kit!

 

Well...his car has full stock internals, comptech intake, dc headers, greddy evo cat back, Apexi vafc (basically used for a/f), msd ignition, act clutch, lightened flywheel, stock settings from the jrsc even the 6 psi pulley, and he was on slicks. Im a turbo fan but a friend of mine with a turbo teg boosting 10 or 12 psi on the same slicks ran a 8.3 at the same track. Just getting opinions...

 

A Turbo Teg at 10-12psi runs a 8.3, a 6psi JRSC Teg runs an 8.4, both on slicks... something ain't kosher here

 

Exactly...thats why i posted. If a jackson is gonna give power like that to a daily driver then its thumbs up for the jackson. Im not anti turbo. But when you see a jackson but out that time it makes ya think!
