1/4 mile times

1/4 mile times
I am interested in boosting my next car with either turbo or JRSC, however, I've been looking hard at a JRSC 98 lude (14.0 with serious wheelspin). I really want to hit that 13.8-14.1 range. Can it be done with a boosted EG B16A2, teg LS, or GSR? Also, I want to leave stock internals like on the Lude.

Re: 1/4 mile times (95dirtylude)
slix or radials? u can easily get a eg into the high 12's with some slicks, and a good 60 ft......only takes around 240 whp in a cx, vx or somethin light.....traction is also obviously amajor factor.

13.5-13.8 is easy with street tires and either a turbo or jrsc w/ stock internals. many people on this board run those kinds of numbers with just a simple drag/rev hard kit and some time at the track. 12's w/ slicks.

Re: 1/4 mile times (95dirtylude)
I had a '94 GS-R with JRSC @ 6psi and went to a 1/4 mile track twice... once with M/T 20x8x14 slicks and once with 205/45-16 Yoko A520 (street tires).
Best with the slicks was a 13.685 @ 100.73 (I think) with a 2.003 60' time.
and on the 16" wheels 14.0 @ 99.81 with a 2.29 60' time.
I've only run my '00 GS-R turbo (Drag 3) once on a 1/4 mile track on stock Michelins and timeslip is in my sig.
