I've heard you can make a B mani fit.
i took 2 headers out at work, and the ports look like they line up. is it true that you can cut the bolt holes out a little for a b series manifold to fit a d?

Yeah, it's true. But the ports don't really line up that well. It's easier to see the difference by laying the manifold gaskets on top of each other.
You have to port the hell outta a D series mani to get it to match up with the B series ports. So the same would hold true going the other way...
And yes you have to redrill a few new holes and slot a few of the existing ones to get it to physically bolt up.

how hard would it be to port the d series manifold to fit a b-series engine? i mean if i took it to a shop and had them do it. drilling the holes shouldn't be that hard for them.

I dont think its worth it really...You can get new ones from me for 2-250. prices are reflective on what you want done. itll be a few weeks before Im up and running, but keep me in mind
