Default D series manifold question

i was looking at a D series HF turbo manifold and for some reason the D turbo manis always sell for light years cheaper than B turbo mani's but anyway looking at the bolt patterns it looks EXACTLY like any B manifold...what is the difference?

heres the D mani

and heres the B mani

looks like the same bolt pattern to me

The ports a farther apart on a B series. B will only work with B as D with D series.

No. The B series head is larger. There is probably a 2 inch difference in length in the two manifolds.

it would be worth it. if you mean the d sereis one to fit on the b series one, that would be too much work. if you mean b series one to fit on the d series motor, that would be a watse of money.

Length meaning across ports or from ports to ground? I'm getting one and was wandering the diff myself and how I can tell by looking at it.

it can be done... I have had some people bring me some straight junk to install on their cars in the past few years. I have a d series manifold that the holes were drilled out to fit a b-series head it sucks but it works... If you already have an hf manifold you can get some flanges made and welded and you can fit a t3 flange on it. I have made a decent setup for dirt cheap out of one of these.

So if I get this set up and it turns out to be d series. I should just prlly get another manifold or try and drill it. Try to fit the ports?
