It's nearly done....boosted CRX
Here's a few pics of my now boosted CRX. It's almost done, just needs a new MSD ignition and dyno tuning.
Some Specs:
Precision SC50
Precision Med. size intercooler
Drag manifold
Tial WG and BOV
Custom piping and fabbing
Custom radiator
Accel DFI Gen.6-kinda on a budget

It's not on the manifold in the second picture. But it's on there in the first and third pics. Thanks for the comment.

It wasn't there the first time. Nice catch.

The core is from a farm tractor or so I'm told. It was done by a friend who works/owns a local radiator shop. He just cut the core down and fabbed up some tanks. I honestly don't know what kind of material he used for the tanks, looks like brass in the pics, but I don't think it is. I'm probably going to paint it too. I know the core is copper though. It's also pretty thick, almost 2 inches. Shouldn't have a cooling issue.

Nice.. that thing looks like its going to be a hell-of-a-lot of fun.
let us know how it goes when you get it tuned, i would love to hear about it. i always wanted to do a similar project but never got around to it, college came first.

I know what you mean. At least when the guy made the radiator, he made sure it would clear everything. It's pretty cramped in the engine compartment, but it fits and works great.

Well today is the day. The car is strapped down on the dyno and is getting tuned as I type. Hopefully all goes well and I'll have some decent numbers to post up.

Just got off the phone, car put down some pretty good numbers. Gonna go to the shop after I finish work and see for myself. I'm not sure I heard my friend correctly. I'm hoping it's what I heard.

396whp at 15psi! I almost fell over when I heard that. I was expecting 275~285, certainly not anything over 350whp. Don't know how long it will last, but I'll guarantee you I'm going to enjoy it while it does. I didn't get to see the torque graph. We don't have a printer for the dyno, so hopefully I can get the hp graph from the laptop and post it up.

Thanks guys, I'm still in disbelief....it's more than 100hp more than I would have ever expected. I'll try and get the dyno chart as soon as I can.
