Default ITR at 6.5lbs?

i know this topic had been covered over and over again.. but i searched all the threads and couldnt find an real answers..

here is what i'm trying to decide on. Since i'm short on $$ as usual and i want boost this is what it came down to:

ITR motor will be untouched,

Either go with Greddy kit or Drag Kit (with few mod's done to the kit)

If i go with the greddy kit will i be safe at 7.8lbs, thats the spring size in the wastegate, or if i go with drag and tial wastagate keep it at .45bar 6.5lbs?

I would run this set up on a stock ECU basically just bolt on the turbo kit on the motor add exhaust and straight pipe thats it..

Later i would get a standalone, injecots, bottom redone and up the boost..

please post some opinions...

thanks!

Choosing between the two kits is up to you because it all depends on what you think you are going to do with the car in the long run, like for example you want to build the motor and up the boost maybe even get a spandalone system ok, you are not get the same performance out of your setup with running 15psi on the greddy kit and running 15psi on the drag lll kit.

I would say get the greddy kit if you don't think you are going to go boost crazy and want to make 400hp to the wheels or whatever it is a good kit with a very nice supply of power which will put you well into the 13's and maybe even 12's but keep in mind that the 18g turbo comes to its limits quicker than the T3/T4 thats gona come with the drag lll kit. Please don't think I'm doging on the greddy kit but with the power of drag its just not worth getting the greddy in my oppinion.

So bottom line is "Choose your weapon visely"

P.S if anybody disagrees go ahead and share your thoughts and maybe I can learn something too ;-)
