F-Max Turbo Kit
I was recently reading up on there kit and it seems too be well fabricated. Its a little over 3k and i was going to get one.Do you guys know if there any good or are they just too much and i could get a drag or rev hard for less and there the same thing. Also would these kits be better instead of greddy kit, i know they make more power. Im gonna be using it from say like 40-100 or so.Mostly highway... i dont know if that makes a difference. But i think that the drag or revhard may be better for that, Just wondering. Also what else do i have to buy with those?A EMS and boost controller?

Re: (narib2001)
i personally hate the fmax kit, get a decent kit if any like revhard or drag, but i rather build one if you're plannin to run a standalone... yes a boost controller is a must have.. good luck
p.s. once you go turbo theres no more goin back

Re: F-Max Turbo Kit (narib2001)
i've had the FMAX kit on my car for over three years now with no problems...fit perfect even in my kinda unique setup-B18C1 with Skunk intake mani in an EG chassis.just told them what i had and the piping worked perfectly....
as far as kits go,it's the best.most of the parts like the turbo and I/C are the same from one kit to another.the MF-II fuel management is far better than any rising rate fuel pressure regulator other kits use.i'm running 12psi and it still works fine.
the exhaust manifld hasn't cracked or gave me any problems like i've heard from other kits.all the piping fit perfect, the welds look good, and the paint seems pretty durable.the downpipe already has the cat flange on it,so it bolts right up(no visit to the exhaust shop).the kit doesn't require any shaving of the block either.....
now, keep in mind that you could also piece together a setup for less money and use better management like a Hondata.of course, this wll require some research, some fabrication and tuning afterward....
just depends on what you want to do.
either way i would upgrade the fuel pump(i went with a Walbo 255LPH unit).depending on what spring your wastegate has it,you may or may not want a boost controller.i have a simple Grainger controller on my car.
