Default Issues with boost

I have h22 turbo fully built gt3582 turbo, id1000, 450lph wabro, sleeved block, full 3 inch exhaust with vibrant muffler .p28ecu Neptune RTP board.

Went to dyno yesterday and had a problem with the wastegate. It is Tial MVS brand new wastegate. If we put the 1 bar spring the boost only reached 0.5bar. tried 1.5 bar spring and boost reaches 0.75 bar. Why is that? Am i missing something?

Tons and tons and tons of reading you can do while waiting for a spoon fed answer. On top of this Tial has great customer service you can reach out to…

We just had some tests today.

-Boost leak test but no leak detected.
-We removed the BOV and put a pipe but same thing so we put the bov back on.
-The turbo is brand new there is no shaft play.
- no exhaust leaks and manifold gasket is new.

Looks more like the boost controller settings. Please let us know what boost controller you are using.

How does a boost controller make LESS than wastegate spring pressure ?

At the beginning I was using mac solenoid with a low spring rate, In the dyno at the first run it wont past 0.5 bar. So we thought there is something wrong with the solenoid. We took it off and we decided to use just the springs to see what happens so we tried the 1 bar spring and 1.5 bar spring. But it does the same thing. any spring we put only we get half of the spring rate.

Tial MV-S old springs on left and new ones on the right.
You’re making it seem like you’ve changed one spring. Did you match this chart? For 1 bar did you do black plus red?

Also, what is your vacuum source? If it's the compressor housing, that may be part of the issue, (but usually, that's for if you have boost creep, not hitting target boost).
Check for collapsing lines to the wastegate, in addition to Highschooler's "Spring Theory". (haha, I made a funny! )

Vacuum source from intake manifold. All hoses looks perfect. My buddy is going to borrow shop vac from his uncle tomorrow ,we will test for exhaust systems leaks and let you know.

I think he means warped, not wrapped…
I’m not sure if it’s the exhaust manifold flange that’s warped or the actual wastegate’s flange.

Sorry my bad lol. It was the wastegate flange. I think the guy who weld it used more heat?

If you’re getting an exhaust leak between your wastegate and the wastegate flange on your exhaust manifold, it’s probably the flange on your exhaust manifold that got heated up too much when it was being welded on, so it’s not flat now.
You might be able to sand it down if you can see which side it’s leaking from, but more than likely you’ll need to cut off the wastegate flange on the exhaust manifold and have a new one welded on, without as much heat this time.
If your wastegate is brand new it’s probably not your wastegate leaking.
