Default Internals for b18b?

I have b18b with an fmax kit on it and in under an hour managed to crack all four pistons why I have no idea. I'm only looking to under 7-9psi. I'm looking into a b18b from sparkracing.com which includes pistions/rods. Should that setup be reliable? any suggestions, I'm trying to pay off a ITR too so money is tight

you should just buy some pistons and rods and a block guard and have your ocal machine shop put it together that would prolly be most cost effective. Instead of buying a whole new motor from a shop.............

If you cracked all the pistons in an hour, don't you think this is telling you something? Go to a junkyard, get a low miles B18B shortblock, throw it in, and get a GOOD EMS. I'm guessing you're running an FMU or AFC hack, right?

yeah I'm running the MRL 2 additional fuel injector controller with 2 440cc injectors in the intercooler piping along with the walbro fuel pump.

Even though your fuel management sounds crude, you should not have cracked all the rings that quickly and such low boost. Something else has to be wrong.
