Default Internal Wastegate Problem

I am having big problems with My greddy turbo kit, I was running 9 PSI with out a problem, I has a Vaccum T that brought up the boost from 5.5 psi, It was running like that for a few month. Now Boost goes past 9 psi and past 11 and 12 and I just let go of the Throttle. So I did what I had to do and Took out the T and changed the rubber hoes from Wastegate to Turbo, to see if it went back to 5.5 PSI and it didnt and just kept on rising. I checked out all the vacuum lines and there was no Leak. What could be wrong, I called my local shop and they said that I had a Wastegate that wasnt closing. How could I go about Fixing this.

if your local shop told you the wastegate was not closing then i think i found your problem...first you need to go out and purchase a new local shop.

after that, and after you inform the shop that a wastegate is always closed and then opens via pressure from the intake manifold.

your internal wastegate may be shot. if its for a mitsu turbo you can find a new one for very very cheap on dsmtrader.com if its garret im not sure where you can get one. they're cheap enough to just try and replace.
