interesting information the B housing can outflow an E housing.....(turbonetics)***attn turbo seller
i had some choices when going with a different turbo this time, and the guy i deal with from lakeland florida was showing me some compressor MAPS and flow ratings that showed the "B" housing outflowing and performing an "E" housing....
so fo course i was in disbelief........
as all the precision turbos are pretty much "E" housing compressors.
so i called turbonetics myself and aske dif this was true, and they reassured me that the turbo rep was correct that if properly with the new wheel designs from them this year, and proper "B" compressor cover machining that it will outflow an "E" housing substantiably, i was in awe!!!!
they said this was only on regular shaft and regular fram t3t4 turbos, not on the "big shaft" T series style turbos, and for cars inder 2.2 liters of displacement.
has anyone dealt with this or heard of this

that's crazy talk man! hehehe j/k
I've heard the same thing too about how T4B's will outflow the T4E. I think this might only be true of the T4B V and H trims and not the S trims. From the comparisons I've seen the B (H & V trims) will flow around the same as a E 60 trim, but a lot more then E trim 50-57. I think that with a B trim there has to be a point where the flow cant keep up with an E.
One other thing I noticed too when I was comparing a T4B H-3 to a T04E 60 trim, is that the compressor maps for the H-3 only go as high as 74% and the E goes up to 78%. If you compare the size of the T4E 60 trim's 74% area, it is a lot bigger then the 74% area of the T4B.

yes i should have been more specific, i am speaking of the V trim, and more importantly the super V trim, i dont think there is a MAP on the internet right now for the super V which is what he is waiting on to go into my compessor.
