After I did some search of IC I thought myself, that a air to water intercooler is more efficiency and the turbo lag is lower, cause a air to water is not that big like a normal air to air. So it looked some photos of some setups.
I have the Intercooler which comes with the DRAG III kit and I´ve heard it is eviciency up to about 18psi. Is it worth to upgrade to a other intercoler or perhaps to a water to air one?

air water id great for the track as you can cool the water with ice for each run keeps temps down and is very efficient, for a street car without a cool water resevoir it starts to loose it advantage after some time eg. 20minutes or so. on air/air it is important to match inlet outlet pipe diameters and ic piping diameters to ensure peak efficiency for your particular application, low boost on greddy type kit you would want like 2 " pipes all around to ensure high CFM and low lag - just as an idea of the goal, match to your application!
my street car has a water to air.. and about a gallon and a half or more reservior depending on if you count the lines, cooler and all.
Water to air, done the way mine is, is exceptionally efficient and sleeperific

Dude, not tryin to be mean or dissing in any way.. but how many times are you gonna post the same pics of your car?? Its cool to be proud of it.. but why dont u just post the pics on a website and link it?

Air-to-water is really cool. If you run a resovoir and a heat exchanger of some sort you can have the same efficiency as an air to air but with but with less lag, more stealth and the ability to add ice and double the efficiency to over 100% which is always the physical limit of air-to-air.

Most people like to see pics of what can be done... It has been done in my case, it WORKS, it runs and it shows everyone else it's possible..

Hey man, I was wondering about this because I did 2" from turbo to IC then 2.5" from IC to TB. I was thnking about changing it so I would have 2" from the IC around the side of the car, then step up to 2.5" from there to the TB. Of course, that's going to cost like $60 in parts, but if it really helps.
My car is real rich and needs massive tuning, but it seems to have a bit of lag.
