well.. it would depend on what you feel safe with.. if you remove the bumper support you can fit a rather large intercooler on your car (with some cutting of the bumper of course) but really it comes down to the right intercooler choice for your setup.

 

i need one the can support about 650hp....
will cut if i have too.....

 

i would keep the bumper support on unless this will be a race only car

 

i dont even have the bummper suppoort right now...

if you dont have the bumper support now, might as well get a large intercooler that takes advantage of that extra space
