Default Intercooler piping questions....

I just got my intercooler...
and once and for all, let me get this right...
I have a T3/4E turbo, so will I need a 2.5" piping from the air filter to the compressor, 2" from the compressor outlet to the intercooler, and then 2.25" from the intercooler to the inatke manifold

am I right ? or should I make the air filter intake piping a little smaller ?

I am doing a custom piping....also, what kind of silicone hosing (any certain grade of strength I will need) and will I need a reducer silicone hose like the greddy kit ( for the air filter) ?

thansk

Default Re: Intercooler piping questions.... (flamenco)

You want the piping on either side of the intercooler to be the same diamater as the intercooler. Same goes for the intake (turbo).
