Default Intercooler piping problem. Drivers side compressor, and trac bar.

Whats up guys? Im running into some problems with my setup. Full race manfiold, garrett t 60-1 with the compressor mounted on the drivers side. Also going to be running Full race trac bar set up and im stuck on intercooler piping.
I currently have the compressor opening downward, but i cant put on a 90 and run the piping to the side since the trac bar will be in the way. I figure i have two options, (1) let the compressor release towards the front of the car and have some nasty bends to get it back around to go in the intercooler, (2) release it upwards allowing alot smoother bends, but the piping will be sitting within an inch or two of the manifold.
The motor will probably be going in this weekend, so ill try to get some pics. Any info, experience, advise, pics? Thanks, josh

If room is limited, msot ppl will run the charge pipes traight up. then down through the fender hole by the washer fluid. i'm running mines like that right now. Are you able to fit one of thsoe 120 degree bends with the compressor poitning downard? then it might jsut clear the bar. I have this problem as well since I have a trattion bar and have even elss room then you(Got a DA) I edned up buying a AC compatible manifold for more room with compresssor on passenger side

I was thinking about running it straight up and back down the hole for the washer fluid, but worried about heating up the pipe too much with it being that close to the manifold. I didnt think about doing a 120*. That might work...

simple solution and worked great as opposed to having too much piping routing all over the place.

Use your imagination

search on ebay I just saw a very nice 120 degree 2.5" elbow on there. raised edge so coupling doesn't slide off. As for going straight up. it really does not heat the intake pipe up much at all. I've bene running it that way for aw hiel without problems.

not my car. but this is what you'd essentially have:

Yes it does come close, But I think it would be betetr to run a 2" pipe off the compressor instead of 22.5 to save you even mroe room and to get away from the manifold that much more. either that or wrape that spot with exhaust heat wrap.

problems with that is
1. More piping
2. More obstructions in flow
3. More heat from the manifold
4. More **** to remove and cut to get the piping thru.
I did mine like that because i didnt want to cut any frame **** or move all kinds of stuff around to make it fit. I never once blew a charge pipe off either and i used $.50 Advanced Auto clamps
