Hey guys,
i just took off my I/C to polish it, the NE has taken its toll on my Endtanks and fin-rows.

a few questions,
what should i do to straighten out bent fins from rocks etc, i tried needle nose pliars, but this is very time consuming, does anyone have any tricks?
also the rows between the fins have become tarnished, anyone have any idea how to clean this up?

they sell a tool called a radiator comb. its designed to straighten the fins of a radiator.

 

Just remember to refill the IC with 2 quarts intercooler oil for best efficiency.

 

make sure u use synthetic though... much better

 

go to yor local A/C supply store, the radiator combs work great.

by the way, that wasnt funny about the oil in the intercooler thing... i took your advice and now i got oil leaking from my intercooler.

 

i have a friend who is a shepard & he lets me have my way with his livestock.
