i installed a temporary 3 gallon bucket to hold the ice water, so i could make sure all the water lines would work properly.
i installed the pump directly to the passengers floor-board,because they say your suppose to install the pump below the reservoir(water tank). the 3 gallon bucket was installed to test the system out before i go out and buy a radiator forthe perminant setup. After installing the 3 gallon bucket, i filled it half way with water and then threw in a bag of ice.heres where the fun begins:
i flip the switch to test all water lines before starting the engine. BAMM, everything is working good, no leaks what-so-ever. Then i proceed to feel the intercooler and hoses to make sure the water is circulating properly.BAMM, the fuggin' intercooler is ICE COLD!!!!!!!! IM TALKING ICE FUGGIN COLD!!!!! i didnt expect the thing to be that cold. so i proceed to start the car up and take it for a test run.i have the 3 gallon bucket hanging from the passenger side firewall to keep it above the pump(to keep water pressure at pump side at all times).so while the bucket is hanging from the passenger side, i installed the lid to the bucket, but the lid wont install or seat fully because of the bolts obstructing the lid. well, back to the story on the run.
i back out of my drive way, and proceed to baby it down the street, because i cant really hammer it too hard, because im afraid of all the water in the bucket splashing out due to the fact that the lid is not seated properly. i gradually work up the rpms to v-tec point then hammer the sum bitch, BAMM, the ****** pulls hard as ***** thru 1st , then hard as ***** thru 2nd....DAMNNNNNNN, this thing is fuggin' dippin........
i only ran it once to test out the system some what. now i know everything is working properly, im getting the radiator and new permanent reservoir today and should have it all installed by friday or so. im guessing it probably is making another 30 hp if not more with the ice water setup. im not sure how much power it'll make with the radiator / ice water reservoir setup. well i keep you informed on the status of the radiator setup this week........

Very cool

I don't own a JRSC, but it's still very interesting. Good job and keep us posted.

Very nice innovation. It's good to see an IC option for the roots SC out there. I'm sure your gains will be worth it and this is "the better mouse trap." 270+whp from a roots blower would be incredible attractive.

I'm very impressed as well. Love the idea and I appreciate the obviuosly hard work and man hours that went into making it work. Please do let us know how it goes when you can really drive it some more....and dyno results will be nice too when you have them.

Nice, love to see custom innovations. Do you think it would be possible to empty the windshield washer reservoir and use that as the water tank? I'm not sure what kinda of fittings the water lines use, but this would be awfully convienient. Keep up the good work...

yeah, i was thinking of using the window washer reservoir, but i dont know if it can handle the amount of water i want to hold. does anybody know how much water the stock window washer holds? i just bought another del sol radiator for the intercooler. i have 1 del sol radiator for the engine, now ill have 2 del sol radiators side by side.

Nice, hehe, mine came stock with one. If you don't mind me asking, where did you pick up the extra Sol radiator? Was it expensive?

What kind of water pump are you using? Any suggestions on where to buy, flow rates, etc?

As for the washer reservoir, my main concern is attaching the water line fittings into the plastic. Does anyone have an idea on the best way to do this? Where do the stock lines attach?

Thanks
