Which integra would you turbo?
Which integra responds best to the turbo? and can make the most horsepower?
Is it bad to turbo a vtec engine? I know people do, but those with GSR's turbo'd, how well does that work?

cyrio if i were you i'd get myself a 01 gsr if you can still find one.. get a white one, shave the wing, get stock US ITR lip, CF hood, black/red RNR's, gut the interior, spoon bars, two racing seats, and build/turbo that motor. ahhh, i should have done that.

Dude, if you already have an integra, just stick with whichever you have.. dont listen to anyone who says GSR's are better or LS's are better. Fact is, YES, Vtec does make more power but BOTH (V-tec, non V-tec) have potential to make great power. It is safe to turbo a Vtec motor. My friend's GSR is on 6psi with the DRAG III kit and is producing over 260whp! Now, if you DONT have an integra yet and you have a choice, I would suggest the GSR.. just because you make more hp right off the bat. If money is an issue, go with the Non V-tec and use the money savings to get some tuning after the turbo kit's installed.

GSR would be best, lower compression than type R. As far as the v-tec, get yourself an Apexi VAFC and raise the v-tec point up so you don't get any hesitation when the v-tec and the turbo kick in.

Rob92SC, I find it hard to believe that a GSR on 6Psi is making over 260 to the wheels. That would have to be at least a 110hp gain over stock whp. That is almost 20hp/lb of boost. I am not saying it is bullshit, but is that for real or a type-o? Any dyno charts?

If one turbo's a GSR, would you have to get a stand alone fuel management system? What is the cheap alternative?

To explain the dyno further.. we didn't take it up to redline cuz his tach is off by like 500rpm or so. The dyno dude was watching the stock tach (off) instead of the 5" autometer.. dunno why. Anyways.. he let off around 7300rpm.. still room for more HP.. so this 261whp is actually a low reading.. it should be around 270.
