a friend of mine got an 08 evox mr blew it up twice thrid time fully bullt the engine stock turbo was made like 350whp an bout the same tq cant go higher than that cus the auto tranny they put in that car is garbage lol....what im trying to say is that dsm sucks they really i gotta gsr on boost in a hatch an i love it ....they only good thing is they are all wheel drive

Just because a motor blows up doesn't mean the motor sucks... Blowing up an 08 evo motor twice already is rediculous. In otherwords, get a new tuner or learn what power curve you want and build the engine accordingly. AMS has already proven this aluminum block 4b11 to be a pretty decent powerplant and it hasn't even been out very long.

Its not a fan boy thing, I hated hondas and ran my mouth about them all day till I took a ride in my buddys 12 sec rex. Next day I went and bought a ef. Im a chevy guy and ill be the first to say there is not replacement for displacement. But there is absolutly nothin that compares to the look on a camaro/mustang owners face when you toast them out 2nd and 3rd gear. Its the respect that's given to someone when they make these lil economy 4 cyl and turn it into a flying tin can (and not too mention its 150% better on gas)

and I bet any money if you took two retards and put on in a civic and one in a gst and told them to beat the **** out of them the retard in the honda would come driving back alone at least 50% of the time

 

bro its just sad its new and the kid blew it up twice and the frist time he was tuned by some guy jester who is amazing at tuning evos or as he said and the second time he was tuned at japtrix with cobb and blew it up sorry not a big fan of dsm just cus what i've seen its sad they are quick but usaually it fast but for not that long i beat him untill he fully bulit it and of course he would talk **** but then he ****ed up his axles and his block has another leak lol...again....and i always tell him at least my car is running.......lol....my block bulit a year and a half ago maby longer and still no problems dsm sucks ....honda all day

 

if you have a problem with trannys in a dsm you dont know how to launch it ...my boy made 680awhp and never broke a tranny one time and he had the car for 2 years then sold it

 

but in that car its a twin disk automatic clutch system in there and it wont hold past 350 and even at the hp the tranny slips.....check it 08 evo m r transmission
