intake sensor
I dont know why but I have no idea what you do with your stock sensor.
do I have to drill a hole in my INTAKE pipe(lengthen the wires) and hook it up there?
or do I install it where it was like factory?
hmm,
thanks

Re: intake sensor (SiRkid)
hahaha See my post re: SGT Racing. Get one from a 92-95 Civic and mount it on the blank spot on #1 runner of the intake manifold. It takes some work, but it is well worth it.

Re: intake sensor (SiRkid)
Run your car for a bit then hold one hand on the intake manifold and one hand on your charge pipe the temperature difference is amazing. Now think of how comfusing that is to your ECU.
I drilled a hole in the charge pipe, right before the Throttle body, now I am re-doing it. I think the car actually idled better with the sensor just hanging in the engine bay. (kinda ghetto, but suprisingly it didn't idle too bad like that.)

If you look on the runner (#1) You will see an oval flat spot...it looks like something supposed to go there. The 92-95 Sensor is the same shape as that oval. You just have to remove the intake manifold and drill 3 holes. One for the sensor and two to be tapped for the bolts. When I do mine this weekend I will take pics.

Re: intake sensor (SiRkid)
If i were you I would either drill a hole in the charge pipe or just leave it hanging if you plan to drill out the mani later. If you had an aftermarket intake that used a grommet to secure the sensor in the piping, use that grommet and the hole on it as a reference as to how big to drill the hole. Otherwise go to radio shack and get a grommet for it....that is your best bet if you drill the charge pipe. After all you can always patch the hole later like I am doing.
