does running an intake pipe of the compressor out of the headlight make a difference when at the track?

 

huge difference. will pick up mph and et.

 

Most definately, lower IAT's and air being forced into the compressor will make a difference, if your running close to your boost cut without a CAI you will probably hit the cut with the CAI on it.

 

Look at it like this all ur doing is recycling hot under hood air, If you pull ur intake air from outside threw the head light then you will have dropped iat,'s and in turn will help efficiency.So I say do it and ill see ya tomorrow.

thanks guys, Im going to the track saturday hoping to run some good times.

 

hopefully it doesnt hit the boost cut. that will drastically kill my times.

 

man you guys suck...im in ohio and the local tracks shut down months ago and wont open for a few more months....ughhhh...sighhh

 

yea that does suck....tracks are open yr round here.
