I just got my kit today, still waiting on a few pieces but I've been looking around and the average install price is $1000 CAD where I am. I'm looking at the kit and I cant figure out why this would cost so much, so I'm thinking of trying to install it with the help of some friends.

Just wondering if anyone has a link to a nice write up with pics for a step by step installation?

 

Every kit is different there for installations will be different. Unless you have some mechanical knowledge and experience i wouldnt attempt it.

What kinda of kit did you get? Doesnt the manufacturer provide you with installations?

Most places charge installation per hour. The average turbo install is 8-12 hours of labor.
