That looks very nice Dustin. I have some friends telling me to get them, do you think they are worth it?

Yeah.. did you have any problems clearing the IC piping OR the downpipe? I've been wanting to get one but I was unsure of the clearances.

The bars clear everything... they come close to the drivers side IC pipe but they don't hit.

Install was easy... except my subframe is a little bent from using it as a "Center jacking" position So I had to use a longer bolt for the center "reinforcement".

The car feels so much more stable at speed now, like it's riding on rails.

I have the bars set to 3 turns of preload ...

yeah, w/ my 215/35/18's I think I'll have mad wheel hop on the street. b18bturbo what kind of deal can you get me on a set for a 01 GSR? I have my turbo sitting on my floor so maybe I should wait to see how bad wheel hop is before I order a set???

Ok with the Z10 girdle dont we have to get it machined further? and once installed and torqued to spec the mains would need a light hone to align things properly? or are this already machined for the dowels etc... and ready to go on?
Could ffgeoff or someone repost some of the info to correctly install this piece. Im going to need a girdle of some sort to save all this cash from going to **** from lower end distortion..
thanks

"Drives and turns like an entire new car... ahh"

How is the turning characteristics as far as steering wheel feel, cornering and handling? Do you get more over or understeer as opposed to before?

Steering is instantly responsive. Right when you turn the wheel, the car goes.

I haven't pushed the car too hard while turning (pushed it hard launching though!) But it turns like it is on rails. I even had jeremy drive, and in a very fast U-turn, the car stayed entirely planted with no "hopping" around like it would do before.

The car still feels very neutral....

Also, I tried making a decent speed right turn in 1st gear at 50% throttle, the wheels broke loose predictable with zero hop ... it's hard to explain how the car feels now.

possibly a little more oversteer than before??? But not bad where it would cause the rear to slide out?? Sound about right?? Really curious because bars are supposed to be good for roadrace also...
