innovate wideband error
i have the lm-1 and went through the start up process and its giving me a error 04 pump open, can anyone help me with this please?
i put the 9v battery in, connected the 12v wire to the lm-1 then plugged it in the ashtray lighter, turned the key on, then turned the lm-1 on and it said error 2, counted to ten seconds, turned it off, then plugged in the sensor to the lm-1, and it started warming up, so far so good, til it gets to about 85% it gives me a error 4.
thanks for the help guys

Re: innovate wideband error (tgh99si)
I've been through about 4 wideband O2 sensors with the innovate unit. Its one of the most accurate if not the most accurate wideband out there. For the price its awesome!!!
To answer your question you need a new O2 sensor. You can't do anything when you get a error pump open code. That means its time for a new sensor. I have no idea why they go bad. I had one in my downpipe in my car running on c16 and it was fine until I put it in a regular header it went bad overnight.

The Bosch LSU sensor is specced to be good for 12,000mi of use with leaded fuel.
Where is your sensor located in the exhaust stream? If you put the sensor too close to the turbocharger turbine outlet, it will overheat. Mine is currently sitting about midway to the back of the car.

$28 from a VW dealership. Though the version that the innovate unit uses may have a different plug on it.
That is why I like the TechEdge WBO2 unit. It is completely open.

Re: innovate wideband error (ShapeGSX)

also, when i get this sensor from vw, will it have the connector on it or do i have to cut something up and resolder it or anything like that? just trying to think ahead.

Plugs right into the Innovate harness, no connecting needed.
If you can't find the part number I have it somewhere.
