can you use a 40mm wastegate?
yes. however the hole on the manifold is only about 36mm. you would buy a deltagate adapter and weld an elbow to it for everything to clear. i had to do that for my hks wastegate. it came out nice.

is the placement of the turbo the same as the Rev-hard manifold? I have a Rev-hard manifold and will I be able to use the same downpipe?

Definately won't work like the DRAG manifold. Drag twists the compressor away from the block (turbo does not sit square to the block).
I'd bet that whenever you change manifolds you have to modify your downpipe.

the placement is VERY close. you shouldn't have any problems using the same downpipe when replacing a rev hard manifold. however, when replacing the drag manifold, you will have more of a problem.

Its for B series motors. The manifold makes the turbo hug the block more.

i forgot to tell you guys........there will be another version of this manifold with a flange for a t4. it will be available in 4-8 weeks.

with an adapter, the 60 will fit. in 4-8 weeks they'll have the t4 manifolds. you should get one of those.
i doubt a downpipe will be offered.
