inline pump....12v? toggle?
what should i do for my lnline pump? should i just run it to a 12v source like the ignition wire? or should i run it to a toggle switch so i can turn it off and on? also when the pump gets turned off what does that do? stop fuel or does it let fuel flow and just not pump it?? thanks
Just run a standard automotive 30amp fuse and wire the signal wire from the stock pump to it. That way when ever the stock pump gets power so does the inline pump.
I ran a toggle switch inline with the 12v wire(to inline pump) that is tapped off of 12v ignition switch. This gives me the ability to turn off my inline when at cruising speed and gives me a "positive indication"(lights up) that my inline is on when boosting, as well.
or you can use this diagram for a relay (arturbo) Goes under the dash so you dont need to run a line all the way to the back seats.
