Dammit, I just put my helmet away from the lovefab/fullrace battle a week ago...... time to strap on again.... and BTW, us hillbillies already knew log manifolds worked just as well....screw the midrange, thats what nitrous is for

Ive done a bunch of research and I say inlinepro. Good quality and they have a good wastegate placement for less boost spikes

True.... I've already worked a deal with SSAutoChrome.... when my SST arrives, going to do a straight trade for their manifold. Can't wait.

I agree. I've alway liked the Revhard cast manifold and it's been proven to work over and over again. Inline Pro is very similar and I would rather use that over the lovefab.

I didn't really get rid of it I kinda just let someone else benefit from it. My friend (Cornbread Jr. on H-T) had a spark racing manifold and his car made about 430whp @ 18psi. (SC61 9.0:1 GSR) Problem was it was getting horrible boost spike. The manifold worked ok until he put a 3" downpipe on the car and after that the spike was uncontrollable. The car had 430 peak whp but it ran like a car w/ 330whp because the # was just a boost spike. I couldn't stand seeing a car perform like that so I offered him my Full-Race manifold. At the time I was thinking I was going to put AC back on the car and run the Inline Pro T3 set up, but since then I have decided to go strait T4 so that AC idea is no longer happening. So thats when I got the idea to do something custom. Im having a local guy Fab it up for me.

sounds nice I had the infamous spiking problems with my meng style manifold at first too, just had to run a dual outlet style wastegate, it holds 14-15psi flat to redline no problems...

GOOD LUCK !!

fyi, my friends Turbo Flange just fell off his SSautochrome manifold. it didn't crack. it broke completely off. the motor was tuned VERY conservatively.</TD></TR></TABLE>

That sucks for him, but someone has to be pretty stupid to use that manifold without fully supporting the turbo, if theres no weight on teh manifold it will have a hard time cracking.

is that all you got?! you can't even come up with a good enough rebuttle and certainly, your arguments do not hold any water.

it's not about being on an "anti-bandwagon." it's about misinforming others based on what he said and she said and as stated before, not from personal and factual experience which would be concrete.

This is getting old, what more do I need to tell you? I did not say you "will" get more power and better spool up time, I even went as far as to say you "should" putting it in brackets to emphasise the word. Making sure the reader knows it was not a proven claim. Is that enough for you? Or should I send you some E-reading comprehension notes?

The stock wastegate placement is the cause of boost creep on those manifolds...they have a very small outlet that only really bleeds off of 1-2 of the runners,, at about a 120deg angle...i cut that wastegate outlet off there, ported the hole, and ported another hole in teh front of the collector, then merged teh two outlets together right before teh wastegate flange...problem solved

Go home. Does evey manifold thread have to be so dramatic? I think he explained himself clearly enough so everyone knows there is no factual data just speculation behind his claims. Not trying to flame ya, just take it to PM's.

Today I bought my turbo ****, darton sleeved stock bore B18C1 block 9.5:1 CP pistons crower rods, ARP studs all over, and an inlinepro T3 mani. I plan on running a T3/T67, and I'm going to try and convince my cousin to let me "borrow" his full-race manifold, and try it on my car. Same car, same boost, same conditions, etc, should give a good idea of spool difference between the two.
