Default inline fuel pump question

i am installing a revhard turbo on my 94 integra ls......i am looking for a good place to mount the electric fuel pump
and the only space i have left is right next to the battery on the fire wall....my question is this ....Is there any problem with

I can't say for sure, but I know of one person's car which caught fire and burned to the ground for having his fuel pump that close to the battery. I can't prove that it was the cause, but highly suspicious. If you can, I'd find an alternate location.

Mine is mounted in the rear of the car, right next to the fuel tank.

I have mine mounted to the firewall next to the battery....i know other people who have it mounted there also...if you still think its to risky..mount it near the tranny...
