injectors missing at high rpm?
This is my first post but I always search this web site for my problems so I hope someone can help me out on this one.
I have a 97 integra ls turbo.
Heres my set up:
t3/t4 turbo 57 trim
rev hard manifold, intercooler, downpipe
tial wastegate
hks ssq blowoff valve
dsm 450's with resistors wired in
greddy emanage piggy back
profec b boost controller
My problem is when I am driving at high rpms. In first and second gear it is not noticeable but in third gear I notice that at around 6000 rpms it feels like my injectors are missing. My car hesitates in short spurts. I am only running 5 psi right now because at 8 psi it is really bad in all gears. The guy that tuned my car says he thinks I need to replace my injectors with 370 cc, because the 450s are allowing too much fuel.
My car also idles funny. It will sit idle at about 900 for about 10 seconds then start bouncing like my car is going to die for a few seconds, then go back to idle. My car does die sometime when I shift out of gear to nuetral. Is this also an injector problem or maybe a tuning problem?
As of right now I guess I am going to try the 370 cc injectors to see what happens. I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas or any suggestions, or if anybody had similair problems with the injectors or emanage.
