Anyone have issues with DSM injectors + Hondata + boost ?
anyone? I have a weird AIC cel which ive been fighting for the longest and will not seem to go away and i have tried everything in the book. im wondering if it has to do with DSM injectors? when i was N/A i never had any cel's dunno what the prob is..
my idle is usually around 1500 and if i give a lil gas it will fluctuate at 1500 and do the famous "bop bop bop bop" also on cold starts it doesnt idle high, idles like 950 until warm goes to 1500... any ideas?

It could be a very good possibility that its causing the problem. When i tuned your car I thought the injectors were 550cc's, but I have tuned so many cars I cant remember anymore. There are incompatibility problems with the injectors, namely hard starting and idle characteristics.

ive been thinking about it for the longest if its the resistor box, but how come not everything has this problem? also if i were to get like RC 750cc injectors or something would i have to be retuned or everything can just be adjusted over?
also remember that when i went to get tuned by you i had the bop at all times. what did you do? ever since i hardly ever bop on idle only when i give slight gas on idle it bops.. that's still a mistery what you did to make it steady?

There are different impedance (Ohm/resistance) values on the injectors, so not all of the DSM injectors are the same. If you get larger injectors you'll most likely need a retune. I have made the switch over to larger injectors, and unfortunately its simple math to determine what numerical values the program should recieve and it doesnt scale things correctly. When i tuned your car, I enriched the idle maps and tweaked the timing a bit to "settle" the idle. I'm glad that it fix the problem a bit.

damn so if i try diff injectors to fix the idle i will need to retune everything all over again? street tuning and dyno tuning ??

damn and everything is running sooo good.. im cursed with this damn idle, which aint even much of a bother just that damn cel light wont go away !!! arg!!
