Hmm, I saw it listed on their site a while ago. Sorry for the false info.

if these are so readily available, why are so many race cars running 2 and 3 injectors per hole?

For one, these super big injectors (350lb+) only came about fairly recently. Two, you're MUCH better off with 2 160lb injectors than one 320lb injector. Just like 1600's run like crap compared to 550's, the spray pattern on the big injectors is so bad that you end up using WAY more fuel than you really need because most of it doesn't atomize and burn. You don't want liquid fuel in your cylinder. The big injectors are like water hoses rather than spray bottles.

Motec used to carry 280lb injectors that were designed for propane. They didn't work good at all on anything but propane because there was such a shitty "spray" pattern. They quit carrying them because they just didn't work right, they have 6 left if anyone wants them. lol

The best way to do it is with as many 160lb injectors as it takes to meet your power goals.

Edit: this post is referring to the 280lb injectors that Motec sells. I've never used the bigger ones but i've been told by a very reliable source that they don't have the issues that the ones Motec sold. They have a very good spray pattern and work very well.

Spray pattern makes all the difference... We ended up going with 160lb injectors... We'll see how the dyno turns out next month... I'll post results then
