Well, Piecing my kit together and time has come to buy injectors. The quesion i have is, If I only want to run about 250-300Hp i could settle for some RC 550cc right now used off a friend BUT Eventually I will have to upgrade (hence spending money again)

So is there any problem with buying say 880cc or 1000cc and runing low HP?

I just dont want to shed out money for upgrading again. I know i will have rough idle but that doesnt matter to me at this point.

you can use any injectors you want, as long as it's specified in the tuning software you use.
